Enjoying this Dukkah mix as Egyptians did thousands of years ago, it is somewhat inspiring to know that we are eating an ancient mix with bread and oil as they did all those years ago and we imagine what it might have been like.

Whilst most Dukkah mixes are versatile I would say enjoy this with flat bread and olive oil to really experience and appreciate how it would have been enjoyed in ancient times. We use a mortar and pestle just like the ancient times for the desired consistency, to get different sized pieces through the mix. The nuts and seeds are toasted as they would have been done to improve texture and flavor.
